Canada Service Excellence Award
In 2006 Northern Ontario Welding College Inc. won the
prestigious Service Excellence Award sponsored by Bell
Canada, The Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce and the
City of Barrie. The Service Excellence Award is recognition
by industry of our high commitment to the success of
our students and the personal approach we take to training
each student to their fullest potential and ensuring
they have the skills to succeed.

| George
- George is originally from Newfoundland but now
resides in Orangeville, Ontario. George is an
experienced welder and has his Journeyman Red
Seal Status. He came to the college to up-grade
his skills and to re-test for his Canadian Welding
Bureau Qualifications. He passed all 4 CWB tests
and also passed an in house Pressure Pipe test.
Even though George has previous welding expereince
he said that there is always new things to learn
and he was so pleased with the training he recieved
at Northern Ontario Welding College. George found
immediate employment and loves his new job!

| Melanie
- Melanie is from Beeton, Ontario. She earned
4 CWB qualifications while attending Northern
Ontario Welding College. Melanie found employment
right after graduating. She is gaining lots of
welding experience and she absolutley loves her
job!
